OpenAI and Anthropic both run support programs for open source maintenance. According to their official pages, each one gives you a GPT Pro or Claude Max 20x subscription free for six months!
The eligibility criteria differ, but both target people who’ve contributed to open source, like maintaining a project or triaging issues. Both also seem to grant it if they decide internally that you meet the bar, even without the stated conditions, so if you happen to be a developer doing open source work, it might be worth applying.

I got lucky and was selected for both programs, so I get both for six months.
My recent pip work probably helped. Even with open source use I’ll have plenty left over, so I’m going to think about how to put it to use.
